We occasionally receive questions about how one can support the Conkeror project through donation or otherwise. For those that want to help in this way, we offer a few suggestions.
1. Hire a Conkeror Hacker
Have an idea for a feature, or something you would like to do with your configuration? Consider hiring someone to implement it.
Note, hiring someone to implement a feature in no way guarantees that the feature will be added as a built-in feature to Conkeror proper. It remains the discretion of the Conkeror developers, based on technical merits alone, whether a given feature is most appropriately placed in Conkeror, in Conkeror-contrib, on the wiki (for use in the rc), or as an extension of some other kind.
2. Donate Hardware
Want Conkeror to work better on a certain platform, or have better support for certain hardware? Consider donating hardware to a Conkeror developer to allow Conkeror to better support it.
3. Use Websites that Support Conkeror
3.1. DuckDuckGo
DuckDuckGo supports Conkeror by sharing revenue from click-throughs that originate with Conkeror's duckduckgo webjump. Click-throughs are when DuckDuckGo makes money from the use of sponsored links or from people shopping with DuckDuckGo's partners through DuckDuckGo. Thus a way to support Conkeror is to use the duckduckgo webjump that comes with Conkeror.
